THE VINEYARD

Château l'Escadre

The L'escadre Château, acquired in 1832 by the Carreau family, was purchased from an Admiral of the French navy. In honor of the former owner, the Carreau family named the chateau "L'Escadre" which is a navy term designating a float of boats.

This elegant 19th century family mansion sits in the middle of a 79 acres vineyard with a clay and limestone ground. L'ESCADRE produces red wines of a dark ruby colour, round and generous in mouth, particularly fit for ageing and a Bordeaux rosé with a fruity aroma.

Château les Petits Arnauds

No one remember who the PETITS ARNAUDS were and why they gave their name to this 18 th century mansion.

This 69 acres vineyard is planted over a clayey ground . On this privileged location, the balance between the old and new vines provide a fine and vigorous red wine and white Bordeaux Supérieur Blanc with a golden yellow dress, round and voluptuous in mouth.
